Eventsia Demo Setup


Installation


Step 1 WordPress Plugin Installation

To install this plugin, you must have a working version of WordPress already installed on your server. WordPress is well-known for its ease of installation.
https://codex.wordpress.org/Installing.WordPress. Please visit this link for installing WordPress.

Step 2 Installation Plugin Through Dashboard (Easy)

  1. First download a zip file from Account Page .
  2. Login as an admin and go to Site administration > Plugins > Install plugins
  3. Click the button ‘Upload plugins
  4. Select the zip file you have downloaded and install it
  5. Activate it

Step 3 Manual Installation using FTP (Advanced)

  • First download a zip file from Account Page .
  • Unzip eventsia-plus.zip file at your PC
  • Access your host web server using your favorite FTP client (such as Cyberduck or FileZilla etc).
  • Upload whole folder inside public_html/wp-content/plugins/eventsia-plus(folder) and Do not change directory/folder name.
  • Log into your WP admin paneland click on the Appearance->plugins tab.Now click on the Eventsia Plus to activate it.

Header Setup

Step 1 Upload Logo/ Fav Icon/ Web Icon

Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Eventsia WordPress Settings > Site Title & Logo Options > Upload Site Icon & Site Logo

Step 2 Setup Menu

  1. Go To Apperance > Menu
  2. Create a new menu by clicking on create a new menu
  3. Add your menu items as pages/ Category/ Custom Url in left side menu
  4. Choose “Main Menu” from below Checkbox

Step 3 Setup Social Icons

  1. Go To Apperance > Menu
  2. Create a new menu by clicking on create a new menu
  3. Add your menu items as Custom Url in left side menu
  4. Choose “Add Social Icons Only” from below Checkbox

Step 4 Setup Top Information at Header or Footer Widgets

Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets > Drag Text Widget/ Custom HTML at Top Header Info/ Footer Column 4 Sidebar

paste Below html Code and change according to your needs

Importing the Demo Content


Note: This Demo Importer plugins is only for Free users. If you are using free themes then download importer plugins from free instruction page. So we recommended to use free demo importer for free users and Plus demo importer for plus users. Also this importer plugin is for fresh themes who doesnot have anything to loose from their website. If you have existing site then don’t use this plugins to import dummy content

  1. Install Modern Events Calendar Lite Plugins and Contact Form 7 Plugins to look exactly as in our demo
  2. Download Theme Freesia Demo Import and install it as a plugin
  3. Click on Dashboard > Appearance > Import Demo Data
  4. Click on Import Demo Data

Once you have imported the demo content delete Theme Freesia demo Import plugin

Setup Frontpage/ Blog as in Demo using Corporate Template

  1. Go to Dashboard > Pages > Add new
  2. Create Home & Blog Page
  3. choose Eventsia Template from Template drop down as shown in screenshot.

Eventsia Template

  1. Click Save it
  2. Go to Settings > Reading and select Front page displays > A static page (select “Home”) & Posts page ( “Blog”)

Setup Frontpage Features for Homepage/ Frontpage

About Us Section

Create about us page from Dashboard > Pages > Add New Add Title, Content & Featured Image
After creating pages Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Frontpage Features > About Us section > add About Us Background Image and Select About Us page just now you have created

Upcoming Event Section

Create category and Create multiple post with selected category from Dashboard > post > Add New Add Title, Content & Featured Image
After creating posts Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Frontpage Features > Upcoming Event Section > add Background Image and Select Category from dropdown just now you have created

Our Speaker Section

Create Our Speaker Section page from Dashboard > Pages > Add New Add Title, Content & Featured Image Repeat this process multiple times for other speakers.
After creating pages Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Frontpage Features >Our Speaker Section > add Background Image and Select Our Speaker Feature # from dropdown just now you have created

Our Gallery Section

Create Our Gallery page from Dashboard > Pages > Add New Add Title, Content & Featured Image Repeat this process multiple times for other Gallery.
After creating pages Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Frontpage Features > Our Gallery Section > Select Gallery page # fromn dropdown just now you have created

Latest from Blog Section

Create category and Create multiple post with selected category from Dashboard > post > Add New Add Title, Content & Featured Image
After creating posts Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Frontpage Features > Latest from Blog Section > Select Latest post/ category from dropdown just now you have created

Our Testimonial Section

Create Testomonial page from Dashboard > Pages > Add New Add Title, Content & Featured Image Repeat this process multiple times for other testimonials.
After creating pages Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Frontpage Features >Our Testimonial Section > add Background Image and Select Testimonials # just now you have created

Our Client Box Section

Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Frontpage Features > Our Client Box Section > add image and link

Eventsia FrontPage Template

Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets > Eventsia FrontPage Template Sidebar
You can drag and drop any events widgets from plugins under this section to display in frontpage. As in our demo, we have displayed, Events for Modern Events Calendar Lite Plugins

Arrange Frontpage Order

Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Frontpage Features > Arrange Frontpage order (Plus) > arrange frontpage on your order

Custom CSS

You can add your custom CSS that will overwrite the theme CSS. Go to dashboard >appearance > Customize > Additional CSS

Layout Options


  1. Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Eventsia Theme Options > Layout Options
  2. Sidebar Layout Options (Plus) (Fullwidth/ Right/ Left Sidebar)
  3. Select Header Design Layout (Design 1/Design 2)
  4. Disable Entry Meta from Single Page (show/ hide)
  5. Disable Entry Meta from Blog (show/ hide)
  6. Featured Image Display in Blog (Plus) (Show/ Hide)
  7. Disable Category
  8. Disable Author
  9. Disable Date
  10. Disable Comments
  11. Blog Content Display (Fullcontent/ Excerpt)
  12. Design Layout (Fullwidth/ Boxed/ Small Layout)

Eventsia Options


  1. Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Eventsia Theme Options > Eventsia Options
  2. Check to disable Search Form
  3. Check to disable Side Menu
  4. Check to disable Stick Menu
  5. Check to disable Goto Top
  6. Disable Header Social Icons
  7. Check to disable sidemenu Social Icons
  8. Check to disable Bottom Social Icons
  9. Disable Page/Single Featured Image
  10. Disable Main Menu
  11. Click on Save & Publish

Color Options


  1. Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Color Section
  2. Color Options > Select color Options
  3. Background Color Options > Select Background color Options
  4. Font Color Options (Plus) > Select Font color Options
  5. Click on Save & Publish

Font Family/ Font Size Options


  1. Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Eventsia Typography Options (Plus)
  2. Font Family > Select font family drop dropdown
  3. Font Size > Select font size
  4. Click on Save & Publish

  2. Select Our Speaker/ Upcoming Eventsia Template from rightside of the page
  3. Click on Update/Publish

Set Contact page


  1. Go to Dashboard > pages > Add New
  2. Add all your google iframe code in your editor
  3. Select Contact Template from rightside of the page
  4. Click on Update/Publish

To add Contact Information Shortcode to display Contact Form 7
Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets > Drag Text Widget to > Shortcode for Contact page sidebar & Add iframe code

To add Contact Information at sidebar
Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets > Drag text widget to Contact page sidebar & fill the contact information
